We stood together letting me calm down, his hand running up and down my back gently.

"You ok now?" He asked quietly.

"Still pissed off, can't face him right now" I replied shuddering from the biting wind and retracted my arms so they were pressed between us.

"Here take this" he let go of me and shrugged his grey zip up jumper off of his shoulders revealing that he was wearing a tight black t-shirt hugging his evident muscles and a gun tucked in the waist band of his jeans. I bit my bottom lip as my eyes wandered over his body appreciatively the gun attracting my attention briefly lower as he handed the jumper to me. I pulled it quickly on zipping it right to the top, it still held the warmth of Lewis's body which defended me from the cold nip of the wind.

"Thanks" I smiled trying to hide the onslaught of a deep red blush looking down to my feet and occasionally back to Lewis who was watching me with a smirk, his eyes glinting brightly.

"No problem" he buried his hands in his jeans pockets, his arm covering the gun, then looking over my shoulder at the house. I cast a look over my shoulder at the house not too far away, Eddie was stood outside phone pressed to his ear yelling down it.

"I don't want to go back right now" I stated pulling at his arm and walking away from the house. We talked and laughed about anything and everything as we walked further and further away from the house not knowing where the hell we were going.

"You do realise they're going to be so pissed when we get back" I said shoulder bumping him breaking the silence which had wound its way around us.

"Yeah" he shrugged "I'll get told off more than you though" he sighed pushing his hand in his hair, I rose my eyebrows at him. "I would. They're pretty pissed at me at the minute" he replied to the look I was giving him.

"How so?" I countered as we paused, stuffing his hand back in his pocket and turned to me. I folded my arms and gave him a testing look.

"They are seriously" he breathed a laugh his lips twitching into a smirk.

"Mmhmm" I hummed

"They are" he defended

"Expand - how are they?" I asked stepping closer tipping my head back to look in his face properly. He held his breath for a second, his eyes only fractionally widened and he rubbed the back of his neck a subtle smile playing on his lips.

"I-" his phone started to ring - Big Bang Theory opening theme tune. He rolled his eyes at the screen identifying the caller and answered the phone. "Yeah?" he sighed taking a couple of quick glances at me. "Yeah she is... What?! No" his eyebrows furrowed together and his mouth open a little. "Funny... Real funny.............. What sort of problem?" he asked looking around where we had ended up - just the middle of nowhere in some part of the English countryside. His eyes narrowed as he watched something over my shoulder. I started to turn my head glancing at his eyes to get the right angle he was looking at but he pressed the phone between his face and shoulder placing his hand on my cheek turning my head back to him. His eyes flicking between mine as the person on the other side fed him information. "Put your hood up - look cold" he instructed quietly taking back hold of his phone and leaving the side of my face cold by his absence. I nodded rubbing my forearms then pulling the hood over my head and pushed myself into the side of him the gun was on concealing it, resting my cheek on his shoulder my hand on the opposite side stretched out on his chest the other around his back balling up a bit of his t-shirt. He did a double take down at me his eyebrows raised, eyes widening and he licked his lips nervously. I smiled at him giving him a little shrug. "Yeah, that'll do" he mumbled kissing the top of my head before resting his head on mine, his hand skimming up and down casually on my side. "(We headed west slightly north)" he muttered to whoever was on the other end of the phone possibly Garry or Eddie, although if it were Eddie he was being extremely calm.

"GET THE FUCK BACK HERE!" the phone suddenly yelled, Eddie, and continued with the rant.

"Tell him - Anger Management" I whispered making him chuckle his chest vibrating with the laugh. Lifting his head from mine he let me lift mine so we were looking at each other, he dropped his phone from his ear the shouting quite loud. His other hand was on my side but he brought it up to my neck inside the hood pulling my face closer to his. My mouth was open a little and I started blinking rapidly and he gave me a half smile which made me almost melt in his grip. As the rant ended he gingerly placed the mobile back to his ear. Our noses touched. I bit my bottom lip as he kept me close my heart speeding up his hot breath hitting my face gently. His eyebrows still raised slightly, his hair ruffling in the wind and a red dot on his forehead. My mouth dropped open as I noticed it.

"Oh shit Lewis" my voice wavering my eyes transfixed on it. I placed both hands on his chest and pushed him roughly away from me catching him off guard and he toppled to the floor his phone falling from his grip. As he started to stand something whizzed by my face, he saw it and rushed to his feet grabbing his phone and pulling me into him hiding my face. He turned on the spot assessing the situation.

"Can you run? And I mean run quickly" he asked hurriedly still looking around us.

"Yeah I-" I didn't get a chance to finish my sentence as he had taken a firm hold of my hand and pulled me in the direction of a clump of trees he had deemed safe. As we ran more bullets whizzed by our ears frighteningly close, he was pulling away his strong legs finding the pace easy, whereas I was struggling to keep up but determined to do so.

"Let me carry you" he commanded not daring to glance back still with a firm grip on my hand.

"It's not far I'll be-" he picked me up mid stride grunting slightly as he put me over his shoulder "I'm not that heavy!" I growled hating the feeling of being carried, he turned his head a little to look at me throwing me another scorching half smile then turning back to where he was running. We made it into the trees where he set me down on my feet behind a tree bullets still flying everywhere. He looked around the tree getting a sense of distance and finding them all.

"Anything comes from behind or the sides shout me ok?" he commanded his hands either side of my head his body close to mine so we remained undetected.

"Ok" I nodded "Be careful" I reminded him as a bullet lodged itself in the tree just a few centimetres from us.

"I will be Army man remember" he smiled at me dropping his face closer to mine his lips briefly touching mine, as soon as it started it ended and he moved swiftly from tree to tree to get to the one closest to the advancing opposition. I was stunned watching him as he pulled his gun out and started firing at the unknown numbers of men.

"Thought I told you to watch behind us" he smirked, he had stunned me so much I didn't notice he had looked at me. I nodded jerkily turning to scan the trees behind us for any movement. But I couldn't concentrate just the feel of his lips on mine for that brief moment of heaven and his taste that I could still feel as I licked my lips clouded my mind. I closed my eyes forcing myself to stop thinking about it, to stop remembering the feel of his hard body against mine. When I opened my eyes again I watched the trees for anything, anything at all. I allowed myself to glance over at him and when I did his left shoulder jerked back suddenly knocking him off balance.

"Lewis?" He scrambled back to the safety of the blind spot behind the tree and clutched his shoulder bright red blood leaking through his fingers.

"Fuck" he squeezed his eyes shut but opened them again blinking quickly, getting to his feet unsteadily. "I'll be fine. Just. A. Scratch" he ground out then tried to assure me not looking at me giving me a pained smile before turning back to the now depleted advancing men. He carried on firing at the men but he ran out of ammo, he shook his head at the gun and patted his pockets with his gun and found some in his back left pocket. He couldn't reach because of his shoulder.

"Shit" he muttered. I quickly made it to him pressing myself against his back and pulling out the magazine of ammo from his back pocket and handing it to him over his shoulder. "Thanks" he smiled quickly shooting one to the ground as he came dangerously close. Suddenly I felt myself being picked up again a huge hand clamped over my mouth the only way I alerted Lewis was by gripping his wrist as whoever was holding me took off into the trees. The last thing I saw was Lewis's shocked face eyes deep in worry as he started his pursuit...
