We walked out together into the living room our fingers knitted together collapsing onto the sofa still under the intense glare of Eddie. "We're going to order pizza, what do you want?" Garry asked phone in hand. It was then I realised how hungry I was only having half a bowl of cereal this morning and a cup of tea "Hawaiian please" I placed my order turning back to the TV as Lewis made his. "Actually make it two large ones I am so hungry I could eat... A small elephant" I exaggerated but my stomach joined in growling loudly. I giggled embarrassedly pushing my hair off of my face irritably. I never usually had my hair down it was always up because down it does my head in so much I can't stand it. I tossed it over my right shoulder and using my hair itself I tied it up in a scruffy side pony tail. As the food came a new atmosphere blew over us all, we were laughing and joking, the guys drinking probably a bit too much. I ate both pizzas to myself since nobody else like the Hawaiian pizzas - their loss. While Lewis wasn't looking I finished the beer he had just opened, he caught me as I took the final gulps. "Awww c'mon the whole can?" he complained "Yeah, what you going to do about it soldier boy?" I challenged "Well... I can think of a couple of things" he grinned back bringing me into an uncoordinated, slightly drunk kiss. "Oh yeah?" I asked between kissing him. "Yeah" "Like what?" I asked curious on how a drunk Lewis's mind works. "That's for me to know and you to find out" he laughed tauntingly. "You child!" I claimed and he just shrugged a stupid, sexy, childish grin plastered on his face. I shook my head and kissed him hard but pulled away before he could deepen it. "Night" I smirked, making my way to my room. I fell on my bed tangling myself up in the duvet a smile stuck on my face as when I closed my eyes all I could see was Lewis. *~*~*~*~* "Hey, Delilah" Lewis' voice softly making it to my ear waking me abruptly from my sleep. "Huh? Wha?" my groggy mind unable to form real words this early in the morning. I moved some of my duvet out of the way of my face and opened one eye knowing it'd be too painful to open both. He was stood in the doorway wearing his black suit smiling at me. "What time is it?" I asked pulling the duvet over my head and shifting so my head was poking out at the side of my bed. "Eight" he answered coming further into my room and sitting on my bed. "What? As in the morning eight?" I groaned moving back to my pillow "Yeah eight in the morning" he finalised sitting beside my head rather than the other end of the bed. "Why are you trying to wake me at this ungodly hour?" I asked as he laid down beside me. "I'm not trying anymore you are awake" he chuckled as I battled with my duvet to rest my head on his chest, my arm around him tempted to fall asleep again. "Ah you have fallen for the common mistake of thinking eyes open means awake" I huffed pushing my face under one of his lapels. "So sorry" he apologised running his fingers through my scruffy, bed-head hair. "Oh Miss Gerrard is here-" I cut off his sentence moaning in protest. I swore loudly and pulled the duvet over my head curling into his side. "I'm not leaving this bed until it's double digits in the time" I vowed muffled by the duvet. "Yeah good luck with that" he muttered, I leant over and grabbed his far arm pulling him onto his side and pressing myself into his chest. "You do realise I'm meant to look smart for a reason, I am trying to defend my job today in front of your dad" he reminded me. "Oh yeah, say hi to the bastard from me" I sighed "I will" he humoured me and kissed my ear. "Now sorry to be mean but get up" he suddenly picked me up and I let out a little scream clinging to him. "Put me down" I commanded, he did as he was told and set me down on my feet. "Thank you... Get out then I need to get changed" I pushed him backwards slightly and turned to choose my clothes. "Sure I can't stay?" he winked leaning against my door. "Sorry Lewis" I strutted up to him and pulled his tie so his lips met mine. He walked us to my bed pushing us on it, but before we could deepen it my door creaked open. "Oh my good lord Delilah!" We broke away from each other and found who interrupted us - Miss Gerrard. Lewis rolled his eyes and pushed himself off of me and while adjusting his tie he side stepped around Miss Gerrard who was watching him far too closely for my liking. "See you in a bit" he smiled at me cheekily and left my room. "And who was he?" She asked trying to adopt a scolding tone but ended up sounding more like a school girl with a new crush. "He's mine" I snapped "Now get out" I ordered so fierce she quickly exited my room no questions asked. I got changed quickly and cleaned my teeth, all the while worrying and wondering about how Miss Gerrard was looking at Lewis. How old is she? Mid twenties? Younger? I stared at myself in the mirror. If I were him I wouldn't choose me, a lost girl. Nothing special to look at. A danger zone. Someone who still hasn't found who she is; the girl the world needs? A possession, something to be fought over? Just a piece in a game my father is in control of? The girl whose heart was stolen by a soldier? 'Ergh I still don't know' I groaned mentally, I wish I knew, I wish I knew how to find out. I wandered out to see Lewis sat on the sofa glancing at the clock nervously. I stepped behind him, pushing my hands in his hair making his head roll backwards and his eyes close after they had seen me. "You're evil you know that?" he muttered as I pulled my hands out of his hair leaving his head back. "Am I now?" I asked walking around the sofa placing my hands either side of him positioning my face close to his. "Yeah you-" he lifted his head and opened his eyes they widened exceptionally not expecting me to be as close as I was. I giggled and left him, in slight shock walking over to my work. She started to teach me about literature, all the while taking sneaky glances at Lewis behind me. It soon came round to the time when they had to leave Lewis had become more fidgety and nervous running his hands in his hair, cracking his knuckles, pacing a little. I was allowed a break and Miss Gerrard left to make a cup of tea. He came up to me as I stood by the table clearing my literature work away - basically to the other end of the table. "I've got to go in a couple of minutes" he stated leaning over me his hands on the table either side of me. "And you will come back to stay" I predicted almost getting teary. "I hope" he responded placing me on the table stepping between my legs foreheads touching. We kissed deeply holding each other tightly not wanting to let go. "Lewis come on otherwise we'll be late" Garry shouted breaking us apart "Ok. Bye Delilah" he replied giving me a final hug and short but sweet kiss. "Bye" I breathed watching as he followed after Eddie and Garry. He had only just left through the door and I wanted him back already, yet what I had instead right at this minute was Miss Gerrard - oh the fun.
Lewis P.O.V. As per usual all my thoughts were directed to Delilah, I was staring out of the window but really to me I was looking deep into her deliciously blue eyes again - about to kiss her. I think I could be close to being addicted to kissing her, I must be I love doing it and I didn't dare think of having to stop. She was everything I wanted in a girl, tall, slim but not deathly skinny, funny and caring. What more could I ask for? Oh yeah no Garry or Eddie to order me to just do my job and not get involved, but how could I not? It felt like we had hardly been on the road that long, I must've been so engrossed with my thoughts (Delilah) when we arrived at a rather large ominous building the walls onyx black and the windows reflecting everything not allowing anyone to see in. The three of us walked into the reception and immediately blended in. Everyone else was wearing black suits and all milling around in the cold, clean, finished silver reception. "These are the overseers" Garry mumbled as all eyes turned to us in canon. Their eyes settled on me, judging, sweeping over me narrowed. Jeez if Delilah were here she'd be having a field day yelling at them all. And there we go again, thoughts instantly going back to her, I should really try to control that already been injured because of it. They all started to mutter occasionally sending glances back at us. "Lewis right?" a young woman dressed in a black trouser suit with no tie asked walking from the crowd towards us iPad in the crook of her arm cradling it like a baby. "Er... Yeah" I stuttered shaking her outstretched hand. "Follow me" she ordered her words clipped and short. I followed her through the dense crowd until we made it to the forefront a set of coal black double doors with brushed steel handles. She pushed one open and gestured for me to go through. I walked through into a huge darkened room the only light shining on an elevated section at the far end of the room, the wall covered from floor to ceiling with a mass of TV screens all with a different picture flashing up on them. A young girl was having a heated conversation with a man over double her age and a head and shoulders above her. I contemplate coughing or clearing my throat to attract my attention but it seems it wasn't needed. "Ah Lewis Aesome. Our newest member. Come" he motioned me over, I took a deep breath and walked towards them climbing the small set of steps. "Daniel Regrove" he smile unnerving, holding his hand out for me to shake. I shook it my attention being diverted to the wall of screens. Each screen had a different picture of a house I instantly recognised as the one we had just left. Delilah was in a few of the shots working and rolling her eyes at Miss Gerrard. A cough brought me from staring at the screens. A hand was thrust in front of me from the young woman, she must've been twenty or in her late teens either way she wa
