Delilah P.O.V.

I had lost all sense of time, it could've been five minutes I've been sat here, ten, twenty or just two. There was no way I could tell, I was stuck in a state somewhere between existence and a spiritual being. I was, I thought, forgotten about I didn't even have a piece of chalk like in the films to tally off days or minutes. I tilted my head back and groaned in annoyance closing my eyes briefly. Some days I would've done anything to be in this state, to have time to myself. Yet, as Sod's law dictates if it can happen it will happen just at the wrong time, I have this time to myself but I don't want it now. Right now I want to be in Lewis' arms 'celebrating' my birthday, not sat on a hideously cold floor waiting for God knows what. Then the door opened with a horrible screech.

"Come Delilah its time" his voice adopted a faint singsong tone as I was brought to my feet. I could tell he was grinning behind his mask as his eyes were glinting with excitement like a child on Christmas day.

"About. Fucking. Time" I said sardonically regarding him as bored as I possibly could.

"Yes it is exactly about time - dead on midnight" he replied possibly with a smirk behind that mask as he looked down at me, and we exited, flooding into the tiled hallway again. We followed the corridor again pausing to wait for a lift. One of the men repeatedly stabbed the down button with a gloved hand until a minute electronic beep informed us of the arrival of the lift we had summoned.

We crammed in, then it began to descend - quicker than I wanted it to. I couldn't see which floor we were on as it was obscured by one of the men. My legs began to tremble as I was pulled out of the confines of the lift, exposed to the harsh, musty cold breeze of an air conditioner on full blast.

As we travelled down the long dark corridor the lights flickered on just before us anticipating our every move. We passed door after door on either side, all the same plain, dull gray. I shivered. I wanted Lewis' arms to wrap around me, hold me, keep me safe and away from these freaks. We stopped abruptly in front of the only door that had a strange electronic gadget beside the door. It had a little concave plate protruding out of it just below something that resembled a webcam. I was thrust in front of it. I blinked at it dumbly before turning to look at the men confused.

"I think you have me at a disadvantage" I nodded to the electronic thing on the wall. Without saying a word the one that spoke, I think, grabbed to back of my head and forced my chin onto the plate.

"Look into the camera" he ordered so harshly I involuntarily looked into the camera. A beam of red light shot into my eye then quickly turned off, as my face was brought away from the device a green light flickered on, a hiss of air and a lock popping open. The man holding me pulled his mask off revealing a scarred pale face and dark, narrow eyes. He was smiling triumphantly and nodded to the two others. They disappeared the 'strawberry blonde' leaving reluctantly so. I was then dragged through into a clean, sterile, brushed steel laboratory the door behind us locking with a deadening clunk. Glass test tubes littered the tables full of different coloured liquids. There were alien gadgets and devices covering the remaining spaces. There was a glass partition that behind it, in clear view was a glass refrigerator where just one test tube was sitting full of a visible pale, sickly green gas. The man stared at it, his eyes lighting up with glee.

"Finally" he breathed "'Daddy's' little secret" he turned to me the corners of his lips turned up as he spoke in a stupid mock girls voice. If I wasn't tied at my ankles my foot would have been connecting with his balls right about now.

"He was NEVER my 'daddy' - sperm donor at most" I retorted with disgust turning my head away from him.

"Well, shall we see what he created?" He grinned an evil glint shining in his eyes as he, once again, dragged me toward the partitioned area of the room. There was an air lock separating us from the area in which we had to stand in for a little over five seconds before continuing into the full area. A dull red light flickered on as we entered. He crouched down in front of the refrigerator opening it hurriedly and reaching in carefully bringing out the glass tube. My heart began to pound against my ribs and I shuffled my way back away from him hitting my back against the air locked door. The binds on my ankles snapped loudly and unexpectedly causing him to drop the tube and I to descend to the floor. I hit the floor shoulder first. The glass the same - landing on its side. The glass split and splintered into a million shards. The contents escaping in a green plume. An emergency siren began to blare out around us.

"YOU BITCH!" He screeched barely audible above the constant wailing drone of the siren. He rushed past me, to the door but dropping to his knees before he reached it. I began to pant as I scrambled to my feet, tugging and pulling at my wrists to free them as he wheeled around to stare at me. His eyes widened in panic and agony - searching mine desperately. His face greyed quickly and grew gaunt, eyes, bloodshot, popping out of their sockets. His hands started to grey too, his veins were popping out of his skin against His mouth was hanging open gasping for breath that just wasn't coming to him. He attempted to lunge at me, hands grey, shaking incredibly so. I stepped out of his reach, hammering on the door with my bound hands screaming, sobbing for help. I turned my head to see his failed advance on me as he sank heavily to the floor, his head connecting with the floor with a sickening crunch and crack.
