When I saw the beast walking away a wave of delight showered over me. So I begun my walk towards my town with a grin on my face. My hazel hair covered my eyes and my uniform was ripped and my shirt was half untucked and I lost my right shoe while I was running. I was a twelve year old boy, short for my age but skinny as a twig the tallest person in my class literally toward over me. So I walked with a sly grin, knowing that the beast wouldn't return.
At least, for now.
As soon as I got to my house I would ask my mum for......'Oh yeah,' I said aloud. I would get changed and have a shower. A nice, relaxing shower... The thought literally ate my insides. Food.... I realised the hunger. I kneeled over and grabbed my chest. I left my shoulder bag in the cave with my lunch with......food. Ignoring the blight hunger, I slowly raised up. I had a headache and I was also thirsty.
* Alice was lucky. The beast had come and had.begun taking all the children in the classroom, starting with her teacher. Then it began one by one picking up the children and trying to put them in a rucksack like thing on its back. Then when her fellow classmate, Ollie, ran away, it jut stooped. Then it walked away. It just walked away. Then Alice raced to her younger brother, Owens class, but only finding an empty room. Next thing she knew, she was running around the school, calling for her brother, even though she knew he was taken. Like all the others, taken by that, that thing. Anger raged inside her, she ran home with tears in her eyes, opened the front door, looked around for her family, unsucceded, and sat down on the porch and started into the dark blue skies that suddenly had purple clouds rolling in. Then a group of kids that looked under five came up to her and asked, "We were in play school and then a monster took our teacher." Rolling her eyes, Alice took them all in and gave them a juice box and a cookie.
