An ensemble of yellows, oranges, and various shades of red come together once a day to create a spectacular show of colors. They melt in with a dash of topaz and frame the golden orb of light that is sinking into the horizon deeper and deeper, casting eerie shadows through the forest. The long rays of sunlight reflect off the sparkling water that gently flows through the land and caresses the river bank. Birds of every kind fly to their nests in hope of not getting caught by the darkness and the creatures that lurk within it. When safe at home they listen as the crickets sing their lullaby and the owls join in chorus to awaken the larger creatures with their solem tunes. When the near by wolf pack awakes they stand and join in chorus as they raise their heads and howl to the now rising moon.
Through out the night the song will go on and on. Changing their dynamics and sounds as they go. The bull frogs will keep a steady tempo while the crickets play their violins and the wolves will give the piece of music an eerie sound. But all will soon fade away one by one as the sun rises in the east and the moon fades into the warm golden glow that takes over the sky. The birds leave their homes and fill the air with their joyous sounds of morning along with other animals of the day. The squirrels will scurry along the ground and the chipmunks will stuff their cheeks with acorns and other nuts while avoiding the prying eyes of the vicious garden cats.
Then after the sun travels along the sky some more, it will again set and the moon will rise. The cycle will continue like it has every day and night until the end of time itself.
