Darkness holds me in an icy embrace while I look up at the stars. They glisten like white diamonds embedded in a black blanket that cloaks the earth. The moon was full and was like a spot light on the lake that laid below tossing and turning in its sleep. A distant howl of a lone wolf wraps up the night in a soothing melody while small frogs produce a large amount of noise. The lullaby sends me into a deep sleep that consumes me.
