If you could frame an emotion for me Which one would you choose? The bright summer highs Or the deep winter blues? Or would you prefer to take a chance Dance around with a butterfly net And bottle up whatever you catch Or how about this, better yet Why don't you capture as many Magical moments as you can find And leave it up to me to choose Exactly what's on my mind That could be rather difficult You see, no emotion is the same What feels like unrequited love Might to another be shame What someone thinks is happiness Might actually be far from truth And contrary to popular belief You can find experience in youth Determination, motivation Or an attempt to forget the world Remember it's from blue skies And sun, that thunderbolts are hurled Inner strength and beauty They can be often found In real women, not supermodels In homes the whole world round So what are you going to catch In today's bright sunshine light Are we having carefree days Or the tiny ants sad plight Under a magnifying glass You see all emotions can link Just take a quiet moment And allow yourself to think And remember if you give me love I'll take it with both hands And lie tenderly in your arms Amongst the shifting sands
