Currently watching the footie With my brother and my dad Don't really have much of a choice My house is football mad!
Come on England is the cry! But we know we've got no chance We really aren't the best team We'll probably lose to France
But whatever happened to optimism? We should put up a fight That's what we English can do best The one thing we get right
We don't back down or quit Faced with inevitable loss But at least we still have a team Good luck to the new boss
Are we going to win? I doubt it But come on all the same This is the national pastime! We're all watching the game
