You say it's just a children's rhyme But I'm sorry, I can't agree Sometimes little nonsensical words Can help restore your sanity!
Who said the cat can't play a fiddle? He just really wants to express How he feels so deep inside For girl he wants to impress
As for the cow who decide to jump Over the moon in the sky Who are we to judge her talent To leap millions of miles high?
If she wants to meet him up there That mysterious man in the moon I won't question her motivation And then what about the spoon?
When the love of the spoon's life That glorious beautiful dish Asked if they could elope together The spoon granted his wish!
So they are not your usual couple They defy all known conventions But that's the way life's supposed to be Full of our own inventions
