An officer yells "I'm in pursuit" "Suspect is wearing a mint green suit" The driver of the stolen car Was out of gas, couldn't get far Looking flashy with his shades He drove out to the Everglades Or at least as far as he could get Without getting his car wet Running on fumes his engine fluttered The car started to cough and splutter End of the road, end of the line A tragic ending in the sunshine For our little dozy thief Who was struck by disbelief His car had come to a final stop And towards him rushed a cop "Step out of the car, Miami PD Out of the car, hands where I see!" By now the vehicle had started to hiss "out of all those cars you chose this! What in the world were you thinking? Tell me sir, have you been drinking? Out of all the cars you could steal You had to pick this set of wheels! My police car for your getaway! Sir, do you have anything to say?!"
