If I ever find the chance someday I'll escape this world for good Abandon it for skyward sights I wish someday I could

I'd clamber up a ribbon of moonlight As far as I could go I'd dance among the twinkling stars See all there is to know

I'd leap across the universe Inside a single bound There is no telling where I'd go At twice the speed of sound

I'd sing beside the heavens Where beautiful angels lurk I'd fly beyond their highest haunts And see their greatest work

I'd be intrepid, strong and brave And use my skills to explore I'd be the person I want to be Be me and so much more
