When I'm lost or feeling alone I head down to the sea It's peaceful there, just on my own I'm free to just be me
The sea cannot judge you As surely as you can't change the tide It doesn't know what you've been through How your hurting deep inside
The tides will keep on turning And so too will the world Regardless of your yearning The wave tops will stay curled
It's constantly in turmoil Waves formed from wind and friction I love to watch the water uncoil The breaking waves an addiction
I love to know when all goes wrong I can rely upon the sea Careful currents carry me along Whispering waters save me.
