I looked at her face. Her blue eyes that were so intricately and perfectly formed that they looked almost crystalised. The way in which all her sorrow was evident as it waltzed around the rings below her eyes, present as a mark of exhaustion and sadness. I stared into her eyes and she stared back into mine, unmoved and untouched, but human all the same. I grabbed her hand and ran my thumb over her wrist, feeling little raised patches of skin all the way down it. A tear rolled down her cheek and dropped onto my sleeve, spreading slowly much in the same way a tiny drop of paint would taint the whole transparency of a glass of water as it spread slowly through the clear liquid. I kissed the remenants of the tear away and held her in my arms. Home. "You're safe now. I know. I knew. You'll be okay." I assured her as our hearts beat rhythmically. "I love you. I've been waiting for you a long time." She smiled through the tears. "I've been waiting for you my whole life." I agreed and inhaled her crisp floral fragrance. "I've breathed every breath for you; I've lived every day in memory of a person i never knew. It was all for you. I'm glad you're here. Lets never leave."
"Never."
