I thought I understood. I thought I really would. But you don't want to hear, What only truth lies could.

But here's a shocker for you, Here's what we're gonna do; I'm gonna talk, you're gonna listen, And then you'll know what's true.

I've lived my life in solemn fear, Clutching hard on what was dear, But now you've gone, disgraced it all... And all that's left are tears.

You say it wasn't your intention, To figure out my own emotion, And to go and break my heart, With one old motivation.

So why would you do this; Cause me to cry and cuts my wrists, Without remorse and without care, I could go on this crushing list.

So know that I will hate you, Without a doubt and without you, I may be broken and left for dead, But I have a heart that's true.
