Yin and Yang. Two polar opposites, but they can't go anywhere without the other. They're too strongly attracted. Same goes for North and South, Salt and Pepper; they all belong together, in the same sentence, in the same city, state, country and world. It all adds up to a total sum: some things aren't meant to be separated. Others are far less so. But let's not get off topic, yes?
Things are matched for each other as a divine purpose. They must all find one that is the total opposite of the other, and they become one. Such as marriage, for example. Even though a couple has nothing in common with the other, the two aren't able to stay severed. And that is what it means to be matched.
