Here's my new fanfic's first chapter, actually this is like a prologue, let me know what you think please :) Chapter 1
"Fresh home, fresh start!" I bet you've all heard this line, haven't you? Well, at least, my mum has. In fact, she believes this line more than she needs so she's exaggerating. Yes, that's what she's doing, pushing the limits. You don't get it, right? Let me explain everything from the beginning.
My name is Ruby, Ruby Payne. You stuck in my surname, I know. Yes, Liam Payne is my one and only cousin. I haven't seen him for 2 years, since this band stuff started. Well, of course I see him everyday on the news, magazines and tv shows but that's not my point, whatever. We used to be really close, he was more than a cousin to me, maybe a brother. However, you can guess too, he's busy nowadays. I'm not blaming him, he's trying to do his best but he's far away now, that's his job.
I'm 17, living in Birmingham with my parents...or I was. Three days ago, my parents announced that they're getting divorced. I wasn't shocked at all, they used to fight a lot, I can even say that I'm happy for them. And that's when all of this started.
Now, I'm packing my belongings. Mum thinks that I need to have a fresh life because I'm in a shock. Well, actually I'm not but whatever. A change would be okay for me. However, this is not a little change, it's big...huge! She's sending me to London, to live with Liam! I didn't ask for this, okay? I mean, he's a pop star, busy all the time, I bet he doesn't even have the time to look after me. But mum says that he offered this. I don't even know how he learnt about the divorce! Anyways, it seems like I'm moving to London. I'm not really ready for this, but well see... Actually, I'm a bit excited for this, I missed Liam and I've heard a lot about his band, One Direction. This "fresh start" is going to be interesting, well, at least I hope so.
So that's it, this was the first chapter, I hope you liked it :)
