Chapter 13
"It started with a whisper and that was when I kissed her, then she made my lips hurt..." That's my phone, ringing. Hey, I love that song okay?!
"Alo?"
"Crystal?" I heard Louis' voice across the line. "I'm going to the hosp..."
"Wait wait wait wait! Why's this rush? What's going on?!"
"Liam... He's got hit by a car! We're taking him to the hospital now. I just wanted to inform you babe." he explained.
"Oh my god! Is he okay?!" I screamed.
"I don't know..." Louis sighed. "He has got bleeding, he's bleeding bad Crystal!"
"I'm coming! Where are you?"
"Ambulance took us, we're on our way to the hospital, please calm down I don't want you to get hurt with this hurry babe."
"I know, I won't..." I murmured.
"Okay, I gotta go now, see ya." he hang up the phone and I stared to the ceiling for a minute. It was like I was losing my mind with the fear and a single drop of tear rolled down my cheek. No, I have to be strong. I wiped away that tear and walked to the door.

"Where is he?" I asked Louis when I arrived to the hospital. He was waiting with his head in his hands when I saw him. He lifted his head up.
"Crystal...you okay?"
"Yeah, I guess...where is Liam?"
"They took him, he's inside there." he murmured.
"Look at me, look at me!" I cupped his face and made him look at me. I could see the desperate look on his face. "Now I want you to listen to me carefully, okay?" he nodded. "I don't know Liam's state but he will be okay. We have to trust these doctors, they know what they're doing. So please, I'm begging you, don't be like this. We have to be strong for Liam, you can't hurt yourself." I stopped to breath. "Is it okay Louis?" I asked. He didn't say anything and hugged me tight.
"Thank you Crystal...I don't know what I would do without you..." he whispered to my ear. "you see, I can get nervous at situations like this."
"it's okay..." I reassured him. "I know how you feel, it's totally normal babe." I looked him in the eyes. He smiled.
"I love you."
"I love you too..." I smiled back to him and kissed him softly. He smiled in the kiss but I could sense that he was still nervous. How could I blame him, he's right. I'm afraid for Liam too but like I said, we have to be strong. "I'm going to have a coffee, would you like one?"
"Yeah it would be nice but you wait here, I'll go and buy them. I have to distract my thoughts." he caressed my cheek lightly and left.
"Crystal?!" I heard his husky voice, Zayn.
"Zayn?! What the hell you're doing here?" I asked him angrily.
"I heard about Liam..."
"And I still couldn't get what you're doing here, you're not even friends with Liam."
"No, you don't kn..." he started.
"Oh, I don't know what?! Please, illuminate me Zayn." I cut him.
"Look I...wait...why are you doing this Crystal?! I'm trying so hard to change, I'm struggling with myself...changing everything I am...just for you! Why are you doing this to me?! Isn't it enough?!" he cried.
"Oh, correct me if I'm wrong but I believe you were the one that chases me, stalks me and tries to rape me!"
"I...I...I was..." he stuttered. "everybody makes mistakes! I made some but I'm trying to compensate them, I've already told you that I'm sorry..."
"Sorry but I can't forget things like rape!"
"I didn't even ra..."
"Don't! Just don't. Don't you ever tell me that you didn't rape me, cuz you tried. This conversation is over." I stated and turned my back to him.
"Zayn?! What are you doing here?!" I heard Louis.
"I was...umm...I wanted to visit Liam..."
"Oh, okay..." Louis said simply. "Crystal, are you okay babe? You're so pale, are you sick?...wait a minute..." he murmured and turned his gaze to Zayn. "Did he annoy you?"
"It's okay, I'm okay, don't worry." I smiled weakly.
"I'm leaving...Louis, tell Liam that I've been here for him please." said Zayn.
"Sure, I will." Louis said just before Zayn walked through the corridor and left us alone.
