Recollection of my childhood collection.
Thinking back to many years ago before I knew about the bird's and the bee's. I sit here and smile because I remember distant but happy childhood memories.
Mountains of shiny Pokemon card's to trade and deal at school. You had the whole collection in number order if you were cool.
Tamagotchi's that would beep at you; a small pixel eating, crapping pet. I never could keep mine alive for very long they should have had a pixel vet.
Playing Pogz in the playground, always winning the game, I had over 200. Getting upset at lunch time when we had rainy days in because it had thundered.
Then the newest craze was to have a pet called Furby; they used to laugh and sing. Now I shiver because looking back at them I think they are the creepiest thing.
What about getting in from school and watching Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles? And watching Pokemon with Pikachu, Charmander , Bulbasaur and Squirtles!
Sleepovers were cool and were a huge thing; staying up late with you best friend. Given money to go down the local penny sweet shop and only having 50p to spend.
Remembering long summer days and playing out late round the neighbour hood. In class always being well chuffed for getting a gold star if your work was good.
Getting told off by my mum with the usual threat; "You wait till your dad get's back." Thing was my dad would only have to take one glare at me and give me a smack.
Loving getting a brand new pencil case and an all new colouring pencil set. These are some of the best memories but there is something I will always regret.
Wanting to grow up quick and be an adult a soon as I could possibly be. I know that out of most of us, this regret is not just felt by me...
