Laying here and closing my eyes. My cat jumps up to my supprise. Bare skin traced by her soft fur. Lullaby tones in a soothing purr. Nuzzle against me, show me care. Loving moments like this, so rare. Settle your body close up to mine. Unconditional love from my feline. Rest your little paws on my arm. I stroke you gently with my palm. You pad your paws so delicatly. Calmed and soothed so peacefully. I start to drift off to my dreamland. You fall asleep, paw in my hand.
(My cat really does rest her paw in my hand.)
