Amanda, You did wrong, You did the stupid things Many of us have done So what? We all make mistakes, We were all taken over By the rush of being Teenage and feeling Invincible at one time Or another. Oh Amanda, They did wrong The bullies, the liars, The victimisers, All of them - wastes of Blood and oxygen, How dare they judge you, A baby girl In a manipulative world, May they extract the splinter From your tired eyes When they clear the Plank of timber from their own. Amanda, We've done you wrong, We didn't see, we turned The other way, We didn't get involved, We all failed you And others too, Because we let it happen, And now you're gone; Though not forgotten.
