Duplicitously
Treacherously
As a vigilante
For you
And him
Together
And separately
Owing you
My loyalty
For all the years
And tears
Spent
Spilt
As two sides
Of the same coin.
Him
Owing everything
A year of joy
A chance
Of something else
More than
A half-life
Quasi-happiness
Empty souled
Existence.
