I do not love you,
Not for a long time,
I pretended and pretended
Like my life depended
Upon that connection,
But no,
I know that I most certainly
Do not love you
Anymore.
And you should not dwell
Upon our past any longer,
We are different now,
I am stronger,
Another has my heart,
One who values it's worth
Just how it is
And does not try to change
The very make up of it.
I have moved on,
Our love no longer blossoms;
It is gone.
