We've never met,

But you're a regret

Etched into my heart;

A wish to fix you,

Though I don't think

You are even broken,

If I could see you I'd

Kiss the scars better,

Make your damaged body

Carefree and new,

Somehow lift a smile

Onto a love-worn face,

I believe happiness will

One day find you,

When you learn to

Let the shadows fall away

And embrace yourself

For who you are,

And all you can be.

But, until then, turn to me,

Unload heavy shoulders,

I'll carry what I can

To ease your burden,

If you need me, here I am.
