Johnny,

Great to hear from you again - the huge blog update (with photos!) made up for the short but sweet email. It's good to finally know what you have been up to.

I didn't write a letter yesterday - I know, bad me! With visiting a school and doing my application etc I just ran out of time before bed. I'm sure you won't mind! You're going to have an actual book to read when I do get to send this to you.

Wow, loads to say about what you have been up to. It's so beautiful where you are, the mountains are amazing and Tansen looks so quaint. The school you went to...I will never complain about a classroom being small or under-resourced again! One day I will use your photos to show the children I teach how different school is in other parts or the world. I hope you enjoyed your first few days teaching - I imagine the language barrier is difficult but it will get easier as you pick up more Nepali and the children learn more English. And...singing and dancing! You were warned before you went that they love to sing and dance - you're going to get that welcome at every new school, aren't you? The photo of you dancing at the festival is hilarious by the way. I've seen your dancing...

Anyway, I'm sorry you've been poorly with altitude sickness. I bet the heat isn't helping either. I check what your weather is like sometimes - always hot and humid by the sound of it. Hopefully you'll get acclimatised soon and feel better.

I know the electricity and Internet are somewhat unreliable but I hope to hear more from you soon. I'll let you know how it goes with the job I've applied for.

Keep taking care of yourself my lovely,

Love Kim xxx
