Johnny,
Hi! I know I didn't write all weekend; I'm sorry but I was out, actually doing things, and I know you won't mind. You probably think the writing a letter every day is a bit mental anyway!
It was nice to receive a couple more emails too - especially the one with a phone number! Yay! Although I don't know how much it's going to cost me to text you. I'd like to give you a call at some point soon too - but I think I'm going to have to get one of those pre-paid phone cards as Nepal is one of the most expensive places in the world to call! But it will be worth it to chat to you.
I'm going to my mum's at some point next week - in just waiting to see if I hear anything back from the job I applied for. But I'm looking forward to seeing her - haven't been to visit since December. And you know how much I love St. Ives - even in the stormy autumn and winter weather. In some respects I like it better; the crashing waves are amazing when there's a storm, I love sitting and watching the surfers battle it out with the whitecaps, the gulls being thrown about overhead like scraps of paper in the wind. There's just something awe inspiring about it and for some reason being there always makes me happy.
Glad you are getting used to the hot weather out there - it's getting really autumn-y here now, windy and rainy. And cold. I'm currently wearing a T-shirt, a jumper, a hoodie (your hoodie!) and I have a big fleecy blanket too - I'm still cold. It reminded me of all that snow we had last winter. Remember when we played in the snow that time, when we built that massive snowman? Seriously, that snowman was as tall as you! I hadn't played in the snow like that for years and...it was great. Despite being frozen and soaked through by the end it was awesome. Even your landlady got involved - she took our photo with the snowman! I took a risky drive home in the snow - I should have stayed at yours and hoped to get snowed in. You'll miss the winter this year - how cold does it get in Nepal? I know it'll be cold if you go up the Himalayas etc but what will it be like in Tansen? I'll make a snowman without you this year, but I'll make it 6ft tall like last time and I'll name it Johnny.
Hopefully I'll speak to you soon,
Love Kim xxx
