Johnny,

It's Friday! That means its drinking time! You'll be pleased to know I'm feeling better - not sick anymore. So I'm going to go out and enjoy the sunshine, maybe I'll take a walk along the river in Worcester, even if it does remind me of you. Remember *that* day, the Sunday afternoon when I sprained my ankle? I felt like such an idiot and I didn't let on how much it hurt! But first, bath time. Yeah, I'm writing this whilst in the bath!

Moving swiftly on, I hope you are settling in well. I wonder what you have planned for the weekend? I hope to hear from you soon - I'd like to call you when you have the time. It would be good to hear your voice and I'm really looking forward to hearing about where you will be living for the next 8 months.

I watched a movie set in Hawaii yesterday and I think going to Hawaii is now on my bucket list, even if the film was about crazy, murderous backpackers (A Perfect Getaway, if you're interested), I still want to go there. They have the most perfect waterfalls and beaches you can only get to by foot. I know it's probably a bit hot for your liking (how hot is it in Nepal now?) but I think you'd love it. Maybe we can go together one day...

Anyway, I was thinking about that time we were given the dreaded 'Maths Audit' to complete for uni. I don't quite remember if it was before or after our first Nando's trip, but it was in those first few weeks of knowing you at any rate. I *do* however remember trying to do the audit one Saturday morning and failing miserably. I text you, in tears, saying how hard it was and how I would never be able to be a teacher if I can't do a GCSE level Maths paper (although I'm still not sure why I need to be able to in order to teach five year olds how to add one and one, but whatever). You were so kind to me - you told me to just do what I could and you would help me with the rest. Then how, one evening after a long day at uni, you sat with me for an hour and a half and patiently taught me all the Maths I never thought I'd be able to do. It was so sweet of you. And who knew you'd turn out to be a Maths wizard! With your science and Maths and my English skills we could go far! Or at least win a quiz show...maybe Pointless?

A couple of days later I bought you a little 'thank you' gift for tutoring me - that travel mug, one of those new ceramic ones. I had remembered how you moaned that canteen tea in a paper cup just didn't cut it, so when I saw that mug it was just...apt. Perfect. For some reason I was really nervous about giving it to you. I didn't know if I was being a bit too forward, but you liked it (I hope!) and it gave me an odd little glow every time I saw you use it.

Anyway, my bath is getting cold so I better get on. No more rambling for today!

Love you, gay boy! Kim xxx
