Hello you,
Wow, it's been a while! I know we've spoken and emailed but I really don't want to let the letter writing thing slide because...well, it's lame but cute. I hope you think so! It's only because I've been busy actually having a life that I haven't managed to keep it up daily - I will just write as often as is practical. I'm going to call you tomorrow too, as we haven't spoken on the phone for a week. I know you've been busier than I and you're working six days a week at the moment, until all sorts of crazy hours. But I miss you, I miss our chats. So yeah, I'll call you tomorrow.
I had a good holiday, it was nice to get away from everything. I did a lot of wandering, exploring and thinking. I want to take you there one day, to St. Ives. It's so beautiful and I always feel like coming home when I arrive and see the familiar harbour, with rows of off-white cottages and cobbled streets, fishing boats bobbing happily on the sea. And the sea is so blue there, I've never seen sea like it.
Enough rambling, tell me about school. How are you getting on? I really hope you are enjoying it and not finding the whole thing too much. I...I want you to be happy. More than anything else, whatever that means for me.
I hope, when you finally return, we can start where we left off; friends, like always, but with something more. And we can go as slowly as you want, really. Casual is my middle name. Well, ok, you know it's not but I get that you can't do the whole 'committed' thing; it took you a year to admit you were dating your last girlfriend. I just hope when you come back you'll feel like I do.
Enough seriousness. It's late here now so I'm off to bed shortly. Take care my lovely.
