Hey you,

Really, really pleased I got to speak to you again on the phone today. The line was terrible, your voice sounded more gruff than ever, but it was still good. I needed it today, your pick-me-up. I was feeling rather lonely, but better now for talking to you.

It was good to chat, you got to rambling on about what you've been up to. I love listening to you; the way you tell stories never fails to make me laugh. You have an awesome sense of humour. Just please, please be careful on your motorbike and all the parties you will be going to in the upcoming festival week. Sounds like you have made a lot of friends out there - it's no wonder, you're so open and friendly. You make friends so easily. And there is something so sweet and endearing about you, your wonderful naivety and child-like love of just being alive.

Hey, I was listening to a bit of Led Zeppelin today and it got me to thinking about when we went to see the tribute band. They were so awesome, fake Robert Plant was amazing. We got so, so, ridiculously drunk, danced to 'Rock and Roll,' and you snuck backstage for a mooch about! We left at closing time, but neither of us were ready to go home - we decided buying booze and cigs from an all-night garage and finding somewhere to carry on was a good plan. We were foiled! What kind of all-night garage doesn't sell alcohol? We settled for crisps and cigs then went and sat under a big tree on Worcester race course. We smoked, talked and you cuddled me a lot - I was having a rough time, for various reasons, and you were there for me again. Like you always are. We both finally parted ways because we were too cold to stay out any later. I wish we had gone home together but I understand why it didn't happen. You're a good guy, you know that?

I'll call you in a week or so. Miss you!

Love ya, you massive hippy. Kim xxx
