Not my work, my friend wrote this for his Dad, who died on 13th November. I thought I would share it.

You can stay up dad I won't be a burden on you We'll watch an old movie from when you were younger And you can tell me the ending too soon
Cause you knew it all You knew just what to do And when I got taller I still looked up to you
An ale for a beggar And a whiskey, before bed I made a habit to tell you Never under my breath
You were always my father Right down to the end But I am proud to have called you My friend.
You can stay up dad I won't be a burden on you We'll watch this old garden grow again, soon!
