It was hate that filled my empty heart, Anger blew up my world apart. Without a thought I lived my life, No place for care, no place for love, My wailing heart,a toughened beast it was.
A halo of glee wrapped around you, Right in my life you walked through. Air of freshness in my life, Strumming all the right strings, Oh there I was, all floored by you.
Occasional smiles or a frown firm, All in a sphere of fanciful whims. Times at you I secretly gaped, Those piercing eyes with your hair brunette, All of it turned me a shade scarlet.
Hollow words that touched my soul, Deluded me till I was dazed. Butterflies in my stomach from the start, Special sparks that flew by Were all the best fragments of my mind.
Never ahead we moved on, Always a howdy for courtesy sake. With all my strength The best I tried, Words just stuck to my mind.
A voice to my emotions needed, To pour it out the rosy potion But aloof those eyes my inner coward read. Turned me back -withdrawal into Forever I slipped in my cocoon.
