A crown of flowers Buttercups & daisy, Holly leaves & ivy Berries from the woods I would marry you, should You say yes

A cathedral of trees Oak & birch sticks Ash & beech bricks An altar made of the woods I would marry you, should You say yes

A ring of stone River & sea pebble Cliff & beech shingle A symbol carved in slate I would marry you, should You say yes

Fate says, 'I do' Future says 'I do' Past says 'I do' But do you?

And what is marriage anyway? I am already married to you? Time is just a daisy petal an hour, I, crushed with the wait of a crown of flowers.
