Granite Hard as Life Heavy as Death Worn like a treasure Around my neck
Granite Stone necklace I reckon Bronze Age Dug up From an Irish Peat bog
Given to me By a Fairy Named Ranesh Said he Was
A reward For my success And gave me A gift Of a granite Necklace
'When you're feelin' down', he said 'When you're feelin' blue' , he said 'Rub the stones', he said 'And I'll come to you'
So I did I rubbed And he came And I made a wish And my wish was....
Granite My life hard But solid Little love But foundations Chiseled
From the heart Apart from love Granite is The next best thing To a wedding ring Stones don't float
They sink But granite is so hard It believes It can make A foundation And from foundations
Grow strong men Ranesh says; 'Stone dreams sand dreams' 'Man dreams rain dreams' 'Beliefs dreams prayer dreams' 'Compassion dreams Light dreams'
'Life dreams Death dreams' 'Granite' A carved epitaph with this Heart left at the grave Like two rose In a stone vase
Remembrance for All our memories We saved.
