I am Muslim
My faith is born in the East, I call home Oxford, UK But five times a day, I pray to Mecca, head bowed, Aloud to be free in this land To chant the Quran Without fear of reprisal, Without fear of retribution, With the knowledge that this, this Constitution will protect my rights To pray to Allah , And this Holy Land welcomes me, Embraces me, showers me, In love. As I do to you. Five times a day, In the prayer of Fjar, In the prayer of Zuher In the prayer of Asr In the prayer of Maghrib In the prayer of Isha
