Solitaire For Two

Solitaire,
I'm playing solitaire again today,
A few pegs left, still in the game,
It's an old set, on it's last legs,
But I like things that stay the same.

Solitaire,
I'm playing solitaire to lose today,
Don't feel like playing it any other way,
Lost so many times before,
I don't care to win much anymore.

Solitaire,
I'm playing solitaire finale this afternoon,
My very last game ends soon,
I would love you to join me,
But you never want to, never do.
I wish we could remember how to play Solitaire For Two.

#step. Sitting on my doorstep. My thoughts return to you. What we could have been. Should one have become two. In a bout of dreaming. You'd be here with me. Staring at the stars.

Stare into the mirror. Nothing's changed at all. Exactly one year on. Since I heard a happy call. My Facebook is alive for once. But I don't really care. Mostly friends I rarely see.
