Darkness is overwhelming, overtaking everything else in the space. No light gets though.
A blanket of black over everything, Hade's palace barely visible in the lack of light.
The endless fields of Asphodel, the bony trees shivering as the people wander aimlessly through bumping into other bodies every second.
Even Elysium, where the heroes live, is cold and unsafe.
The most noble and bravest people also have to face the absolute horror of the Underworld.
Safety is an illusion. No one is safe.
