Through tall grasses did she wonder, dew-laced fronds about her waist,

As she gazed and marvelled at all around, walking slowly without haste,

For she lived a life of careless free, wearing dresses all in white,

Under blue skies, with blue eyes, reflecting early-morning light.

How lovely is she, and so care-free as she threads her way through fields,

Bare-footed and smiling, her hair flows loose, and to her nature yields,

It's as if it too were so entranced, by the girl's own flawless beauty,

As she trails solely through the pastures; her only worldly duty.
