Oh you saw me, you shaped me, you taught me of all these,

There are no words with which to describe thee,

The earth and it's friends are churning beneath me,

They're the blood and the bones of the damned and the free.

Or so it seems.

I look at the universe and abandon the world,

With a girl made of diamonds and gold-leaf and pearl,

And I beg for forgiveness for the way that I am,

And hope you won't blame me for the inelegance of man,

For I am but a human and long-lost at that,

And I hope you'll be with me when the world falls down flat.

For even stars burn in their heavenly orbits,

And the game isn't lost just because of the forfeit.

It's only the brave that truly surrender,

So stay with me coward for ever and ever.
