A long winding road trod the Jester and Thief, As the Wolf's blind smile from an earthly wreath Explained to them, the mysteries old, Of futures to come and of pasts untold.

Enlightened they were, and they soon saw sense; They lost their guises and dropped all pretence, For when in the light no dark can remain, And the Kingdom of Light is the Wolf's domain.

Yet strange, they held, that no face should be sought, That no peace could be kept yet no war was fought. But to be blind and not see doesn't mean you can't know, When the pictures before you are tell and not show.

And so it was between Wolf and the Pair, An unthinkable thought led to daring to dare, That the three of them all, could do something great, In the power of Three do what required the Eight.
