Silence is a good space for my thoughts, as they're easily distracted and need space to move freely before they begin to make sense.
But true silence is hard to find. With silence comes sensitivity, where even the quietest of sounds become a lion's roar... and my thoughts aren't the type to be frightened into submission.
So my silence isn't silent at all. It is, in fact, the constant hum of an oscillating fan.
