As the young girls terror reduces her to tears there is a loud knock at the door. She looks towards the door and slowly approaches it. Her hands trembling with fear she grasps the rusty door handle and opens the door. The door slowly creeping open reveals a short brown haired boy in his late teens with green eyes. The boy says with haste. "Quick Lilly we need to go you've been chosen and you don't have much time you know what you need to do". Lilly replies "But Luke I'm not ready for this I'm only seventeen why me why now". Luke pauses and looks at Lilly worryingly. "I've been chosen too" he replies. There is a silence at the doorstep of Lilly's house as both of the teenagers are stunned to silence. The rain falls heavy creating floods of water down the dark streets of Clipstone. Lilly and Luke suddenly rush into action grabbing any supply's they can. "Lilly we need things that are bright" Luke shouts. "There are some torches under the stairs and there are battery's in the pantry" Lilly replies. Luke rushes and collects the torches and battery's in his brown backpack. The pair leave the house and they are engulfed by the rain.
