She couldn't believe it. She was getting married today. Rebecca had never been the typical little girl, planning her dream wedding and playing it over and over in her head. Rebecca didn't need to have the perfect wedding to make her day magical, because the way she saw it she had the perfect man; Daniel. She loved him so much. Words could not describe the sheer joy she took from simply waking up to see his gorgeous, boyish face every morning. And after today, that would be the glorious sight she would be greeted with every morning for the rest of her life. Rebecca smiled at the thought. She was getting married to the man of her dreams. Her childhood sweetheart. The very reason she got up in the morning. She started getting ready, excitedly checking the clock in the far right corner of the room every few minutes. Any pre-wedding jitters she was experiencing were over washed with the increasing elation she felt at the day's events.

The time had come. She was ready. Everything was set. Her father stood next to her, looking awestruck at the sheer beauty of her daughter. He leant over to her, kissed her lightly on the cheek and whispered in her ear "you look gorgeous darling, I'm so proud of you." Rebecca started getting a little emotional at this moment. She turned to her father, the man who was giving her away, and embraced him, hugging him tightly. "I love you Dad," She whispered into his ear. "I know. Now now, don't get emotional just yet," He said, wiping a stray tear from her face, "you're getting married soon!" Rebecca laughed, hurriedly composing herself. The time had come. The doors opened. The music started. Rebecca walked forward, arm in arm with her father, walking boldly and happily towards her new life.

(Written from the perspective of Rebecca, would love feedback on whether this works or not, cheers!)
