Please pretty baby,
Try not to be scared,
If I didn't know better,
You'd think I didn't care,
You were up before dawn,
To drive all that way,
Left me still dreaming,
I didn't see the start of your day,
To the airport you headed,
Even though you fear flying,
Your nerves are like steel,
My baby just keeps on trying,
You jumped on the bird,
Your legs were a shaking,
But you didn't show it,
No one knew you were faking,
Flew for nearly 2 hours,
This job you did crave,
Arrived in Scotland,
Home of the brave,
Delivered a lecture,
To Doctors and Nurses,
You completely smashed it,
And emptied their purses,
With a smile and a handshake,
You were back on your way,
But the plane and the pilot had decided your day,
Delayed for 3 hours,
It read on the screen,
You sat down, legs weary,
Felt like you could scream,
The plane came in to land,
On runway number seven,
You clasped your hands,
And whispered up to heaven,
Just get me home Lord,
I really need sleep,
Been up since 3:30,
And this days got real steep,
Back in London Annie did land,
Somehow made it to bed,
And dreamed of her man.
In the morning she woke,
Still feeling so tired,
But she knew she done good,
When they said she'd been hired,
The day it went quickly,
Number two job was done,
Now it was just the drive home,
But to tired for fun,
She heard the door go,
And put down her mug,
In walked her man,
Kisses and hugs!
