Tonight the sky fell, And the moonlight died, The stars slipped down, And the clouds then cried.
The world shook with fear, And the soil burned, The waters dried, And the Earth was spurned.
Awash with poison, All fell to disease, The end had come, On a sudden breeze.
Awash with fire, And sundered by pain, The world, that night, Collapsed to the rain.
The lights died out, When the world was fooled, The bombs had fallen, And now darkness ruled.
Corruption and death, Shadows of the past, A ghost of the Earth, To outlive the last.
Survivors are scarce, With no souls intact, Their bodies walk, But their minds are cracked.
The stars are now gone, Obscured by the smog, The lights are now veiled, And stolen by fog.
Ashes to ashes, And dust to dust, Tonight the Earth died, And was left to rust.
Tonight the sky fell, And the soil was split, Tonight the world burned, And all else burnt with it.
