Death and danger is all it contained,
Dust and decay is all that remained,
Wilted flowers and dying trees,
Falling skies and boiling seas,
When humanity rained down fire,
From a war that it did sire,
That washed the Earth in cleansing flame,
With only themselves to take the blame,
As society falls and crashes,
The planet now reduced to ashes,
World War III in all its glory,
The ending to a dragged out story,
That split the world with human hand,
And left behind a burning land.
