Smooth, serpentine scales gripped onto my bare legs so we were securely entwined. Dragon. And human. Below us our worlds were merging together and the walls were dissipating and disintegrating. Great shards of dull reality flew effortlessly through the sky, now fully occupied by the magnificent creatures. Nobody questioned it, just went with the flow, the tide of the dragons seeping into our world. Everything else was forgotten, we were mesmerised by each other.
So began a whole new race of humans.
