Life spurns emotions we never crave It begs us to conform and behave It silently asks us to please stay in line But I cannot obey, time after time.
Life dictates that we follow a few simple steps, Find love and get married and all the rest, But I need excitement and pleasure and pain, How can I live my life with nothing to gain?
I wish I had someone to give me a clue, Tell me in the end "it will work out for you", But reality paints a unique portrait of life, One riddled with disaster, hatred and strife.
I cannot live life like the ordinary folk, Refusing to act without fear of revoke, TomorrownI wake up to a real life- one anew, Tomorrow I battle in the fight for you.
