Many people drop phones and iPods and end up with cracks in the screen. Often they still work but obviously the screen looks funny due to cracks. It still works all the same but will never be what it was before. I think like these phones of you drop someone you care about they will never be what they were before and you can't expect them to come back without having changed because of you.
