Chapter Fifteen.
We battled our way down the passage way, I felt filthy. Cobwebs entangled in my hair like bad extensions. Dust and dirt caking my body in an unhealthy manner. The brick wall crumbling at touch making my hands look like i'd just helped myself to a bag of Wotsits.
How much longer could this go on for?
"Hold on I think I see the end." Scotts words were like music to my ears. I could not wait to get out of here, take a long relaxing bath, chill out and forget all about ghosts and secret passage ways. My mind wondered off into dreams. Ahhh...
"Xena thats a door, look the end." He vaulted off toward the door, dragging me behind him, while leaving my little dream cloud behind.
Locked. Damn. What now. Walk all the way back?
Wait... "Scott? By any chance when your key was sent, did you get a strange half key thing with it?" Until now I had forgotten all about the strange lottle key I received with the front door key. It was a very fancy tiny silver key but it looked like it was snapped in half. "Yehh, you don't suppose... " He pulled out his key. I held mine up.
They were perfect. They fit together so well. It was like it was supposed to happen.
Scott looked up at me, then at the lock. We slowly moved our half keys to the lock, placing them within it's grasp.

It worked it had actually worked. Scott pushed the grand wooden door aside. What lay behind it was an utter shock!
