Chapter Fourteen.
"What the... " Scotts voice trailed off in astonishment.
The whole book shelf moved aside, letting off a blast of cool stale air.
Behind looked like a spiders heaven. Untouched. Webs spanning the cave. Enough dust to coat the house twice and still have some left. The passage way looked as if it when on for miles.
I wonder what could be down there? Was I brave enough to go?
I didn't have a choice, Scott strode forwards, grabbed the torch and his keys from the horse and took my arm. I half heartedly followed him to the entrance. "Whats down there?" I was more talking to myself then Scott but he answered anyway. "I don't know, I'm gonna find out, if you don't want to come wait here i'll be as quick as possible. Promise." Thats when I made my mind up. I was going. I wanted to know and I wasn't going to let the fear take over again. "I'm going with you." He looked at me for a moment, weighing up if I was serious or not."Sure?" I took in a deep breath. "Yes."
He held out his hand. I took it.
Then we set of down the passage. What lay ahead of us was unknown...
