Time period 1976
Placing my record "MEATLOAF BAT OUT OF HELL". I put on my flouncy blue tank top while singing " YOU TOOK THE WORDS RIGHT OF MY MOUTH! After putting on my brown studded capris, I tried to find my chain to hook to my pants. I took the dangling chain from my jewelry box. Putting my white converse on then combing through my brown hair. In a quick motion I open my window and turn off my song and snatch my skateboard and head out. I'm skating downtown and I pass all my favorite stores the record store, the bakery, the stop n go diner, and the skate store. I'm in front of my friend Nellies house. She just got out of her apartment with her brown wallet clutched in her hands. She had long hair that was as a pretty orange color with a sandy blonde mixed together. She opened up her clutch wallet " Sucker?" I reached in for a blue raspberry lollipop. We were heading to a store called "Emmy Dresses" It was downtown right next to " K&K's Beauty Salon" We were going to the dress store for an outfit to wear at the school dance. Personally, I think there boring. But attendance is mandatory, unless your grounded, sick, or out of town. Me and Nellie have very different interests. I looked around in the dark colors and she browsed through the pastel and bright colors. I saw her eyes bulge then headed to the dressing room. I saw a cute dress, it was brown and it was a good length. But it wasn't very long, still I liked it. Nellie came out of the dressing room wearing a pink dress That had a lace rim sleeves that went up to her elbows. It included a pink top and the bottom dress was all ruffles. We had decided on dresses, so we headed home.
